Wild Ones in the Midst- by North Carolina Painter, Sue Scoggins
SO, I've always got flowers on my mind. They just seem to be God's "pick-me-up". These beautiful wildflowers bloom every year along the roadside at the base of the Emerald Isle bridge. Not showing in the image is the surrounding coastal waters. This 30x40 on gallery wrapped canvas is still a work in progress. Will keep you posted.

MORE PEONIES - another floral by North Carolina Artist Sue Scoggins
Since I was already painting peonies I decided...why not three? This one I love because the red ink underneath is so intense. My brush was going wild....I suppose I have a lot of emotional energy these days. (Maybe I should ride a bike. My nails wouldn't get near as stained. And I'd burn a few more calories.)

Yellow BIrd - By North Carolina Painter Sue Scoggins
Ok. So the ice has had me housebound for 3 days now. The first two days were spent doing collage work. I AM PAINTED OUT! So today, I'm blogging. The recent paintings are being painted for a yellow bird series. Yellow Bird, rested on the hand of my husband when he was first diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. Yellow Bird, flew down from a tree, lit at this feet while he was sitting on the front stoop. Jerry gently held out his hand and Yellow Bird hopped on. Really! I saw it!
Help me name them.
